Water Mover

Water movers offer an environmentally sound method of controlling excessive aquatic plant growth and nuisance vegetation in waterways of all sizes. These heavy duty work boats are highly efficient in the management of free floating aquatic vegetation. Like an underwater lawn mower, an aquatic weed harvester cuts the vegetation, collecting and storing the weeds on board.

Prokura Innovations is a Pioneer in locally developed water mower working with WWF Nepal in the implementation of the technology in conservation. The first version of the mower is successfully operating in Bishazari Lake at Chitwan.

Second and improved version of the same machine is currently under fabrication and will be used in Begnas Lake of Kaski. Water mower cleans water weeds of wide range and are customizable as well. The machine features one and half tons of payload and high maneuverability with the help of the independent hydraulic drive in each side of the raft. The machine also features cutting blades on both side of the front conveyor to ensure easy and smooth collection. The machine is fully hydraulic driven and is thus robust and requires less maintenance.
